(2nd Shift) Dropline Packer

This full time position is located in Mt Joy, PA; however please expect receiving calls from a 952 number in case you are considered. Relocation assistance is not provided.
This position works 12 hour shift, at night (6:45 pm - 6:45 am), and that the schedule / rotation is to work for 7 consecutive nights and be off for 7 consecutive nights.

Position Purpose:
The dropline packer will complete assigned duties of packer as directed, and qualify for one of the following positions; Dropline Operator, Refining /Thouet Operator or Roasting Room Operator. The Packer position is responsible for packing chocolate and verifying product is the proper weight, size and shape. This position packages chocolate drops and chunks into boxes or sacks, and places them on pallets for delivery to our customers.
Principal Accountabilities:
Primary responsibility to pack chocolate is to assemble cartons, fill cartons with chocolate drops, chip or wafers.
Verify through counting and measuring the proper weight, size and shape of product.
Pass cartons through case sealer, stack sealed cartons of chocolate and shrink wrap.
Monitor bean cleaning and pull bean samples using automatic bean sampler to analyze beans.
Dropline packer will be able to monitor and operate equipment in their department.
Perform quality checks and record data.
Follow production procedures, including those required for safety, food safety, quality, and to meet GMPs and regulatory requirements.
Responsible for keeping up with production pace, and for proactively helping crewmates when needed.
Properly documents work, including product labels, quality checks, and production reporting as needed.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer.
Cargill requires that employees be a minimum of 18 years old in a production facility.
Must be able to read/write English
Must be able to perform physical job duties including bending/stooping, climbing ladders, open/close valves, shoveling and pounding with hammer.
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
Must be able to operate machinery
Ability to work holidays, nights, weekends or different shifts
At least (6 months) of experience in production related work.
Preferred:
Able to work under special work conditions, such as extreme heat or cold.
Able to work in elevated areas.
Able to operate heavy equipment
Forklift certified
High School diploma or Equivalent
Basic computer skills
Ability to work overtime.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
