Financial Representative

POSITION SUMMARY

Provide service, basic planning, and product sales for an assigned group of clients in the Central Penn core market.
Actively search for opportunities to deepen relationships with existing Everence clients, with a secondary focus on establishing new Everence relationships.

Refer clients to other consultants if the need for additional technical expertise dictates or as the financial relationship grows beyond the level assigned to the position.
May also receive referrals from other consultants to place new business regarding a specific product.
Emphasis will be placed on insurance products and investment and charitable options offered through Everence Asset Management.

If desired, and with adequate progress, this position can become a Financial Consultant or Financial Planner in future years.

Salaried position with bonus opportunities.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

  1. Build trust with clients through professional competency and empathy.
  2. Function effectively as part of a team of consultants approach.
  3. Acquire and maintain a working knowledge of all Everence-offered products and services and refer new business opportunities accordingly.
  4. Master all paperwork and systems necessary to provide daily service for the assigned Everence relationships.
  5. Attend to all service issues from assigned block of clients quickly, thoroughly, and professionally.
  6. Complete Everence's onboarding process for financial consultants.
  7. Regularly contact (in person, by phone, video, or mail) each client who has been assigned to for cross-sale opportunities.
  8. Personally meet with new clients (at the assigned office) to develop relationships and assist clients in reaching their goals.
  9. Be responsive to referrals provided by other colleagues, specifically within developed areas of expertise.
  10. Generate new business and the sale of new products within assigned areas.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education:

College degree preferred; willingness to pursue other industry designation(s)

License(s)

  1. If not currently licensed, attain appropriate licensing for respective products, including but not limited to Pennsylvania Life & Health Licensure and appointment with Everence Trust Company
  2. Complete continuing education credits and compliance requirements as needed to maintain all licenses

Experience:

Administrative or sales experience; preferably in the financial services industry

  9. Results-oriented, strong follow-through skills

  12. Proficient with Windows-based software, Microsoft Office Suite

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
