The Sales Support Assistant will assist with key day-to-day Sales department functions which will primarily consist of administrative support for order processing, coordinating sales & marketing materials for sales reps, data management, order entry and processing, order tracking, customer service, and problem solving.
This position will support the Fox Chapel Publishing team and does require a detail-oriented person with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced sales environment.
Our home office is located in Mount Joy, PA.
Candidates MUST be able to commute to home office location Monday - Friday, 8:
30 AM - 5:
00 PM.
Remote candidates will not be considered.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Primary duties will focus on business-to-business sales support tasks with cross training in direct-to-consumer customer service responsibilities.
Accurate and timely order entry and processing for company's wholesale accounts and distributors.
Provide day-to-day support for Account Managers, running reports, tracking orders, and sending samples upon request.
Work closely with warehouse counterparts to assure orders are being processed on time.
Keep accurate records of all interactions with customers and Account Managers via the company's CRM platform.
Manage some incoming customer service and wholesale calls and emails.
Cognitive Tasks and Abilities Strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community.
Must be personable and comfortable and confident in a fast-paced sales environment.
Highly organized with attention to detail Great at juggling priorities and multi-tasking to meet shifting demands and firm deadlines Education and Experience At least four years customer service experience within a professional sales organization.
Computer Skills Strong data entry experience needed.
Highly proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
Very strong Excel experience needed.
CRM experience preferred.
Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit and talk or listen.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Work Environment Must be able to work in a professional office environment.
Ability to work independently or as a member or a team.
