Responsibilities:
Serve as initial point of contact for employees needing technical assistance.
Troubleshoot and resolve basic issues reported by employees using diagnostic techniques.
Identify unresolved issues in a timely manner and escalate them to the next support level.
Create, maintain, and update documentation for internal IT policies and procedures.
Perform basic maintenance, upgrades, and repairs on computers and network equipment.
Identify, document, and escalate potential problems in the IT infrastructure proactively.
Identify and suggest ways to improve the performance and security of the IT infrastructure.
Qualifications:
Experience providing Customer Service.
Proficiency with Microsoft Windows 10 and 11.
Proficiency with all current Microsoft Windows Server versions.
Proficiency with the use and management of Microsoft 365 applications.
Proficiency with both Android and Apple mobile devices.
Understanding of how Voice over IP (VoIP) phone systems work.
Understanding of how Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) work.
Exceptional writing and communication skills.
Industry certifications from CompTIA and Microsoft are preferred but not required.
Associates degree in computer science (or related field) is preferred but not required.
