Job Description One position available, qualified candidate may work in the Mount Joy, PA, Mechanicsburg, PA, or Butler, PA branch locations.
Position Description:
Corporate Loan Officer will serve as the calling officer for the largest and most complex Agribusiness borrowers of the Association.
Responsible for developing relationships with corporate prospects, negotiating and structuring the credits, and working with Association to provide high level servicing of the portfolio.
Expected to develop industry expertise and display the highest level of professionalism and communication.
Areas of Responsibility:
Corporate loan officers will use their exceptional relationship building skills to develop a pipeline of agribusiness prospects and strong industry connections.
Corporate loan officers are expected to uncover the largest lending opportunities within the footprint of Horizon Farm Credit and develop relationships with other FCS lenders to expand the geographic reach of the Association.
They will represent Horizon Farm Credit and the Farm Credit system with a high degree of professionalism and discretion in the marketplace.
Corporate loan officers will negotiate credit facilities that align the needs of the borrower with the risk appetite of Horizon Farm Credit.
Corporate loan officers are expected to be an important resource to the Member's within their portfolio and provide insight and service that allows their businesses to grow and thrive.
This includes working with the Member to proactively identify future opportunities and borrowing needs.
Corporate loan officers are expected to operate with efficiency, respectfully utilizing their teammates and resources within the Association to provide an exceptional member experience.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Economics, Finance, or Agricultural field.
Generally, minimum of five years of commercial credit experience, preferably with some experience in an agricultural-related field.
Ability to strategically develop sales and marketing relationships.
Superior written and oral communication skills.
Responsive and handles duties within the required time expectations.
Familiarity with loan agreements, covenant enforcement, and reporting requirements.
Proficient in collecting, analyzing, and understanding complex entities and credit structures.
Develops relationships within the Association and works with others respectfully with other departments to serve Members.
Documents sales efforts and member communication.
Coordinates with various departments to provide exceptional service to members and prospects.
Ability to establish priorities, take initiative, work under time pressures, and exercise independent judgment.
Adaptable and flexible to a changing work environment.
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Ability to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Ability to be assertive and decisive in arriving at sound business decisions which serve the best interest of the association and borrower.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
